To make sure everything runs smoothly, here are a few guidelines to take note of when attending a walk:
Pooper scooping - please pick up after your dog or 'stick and flick' off the path if it's in a dense wooded area. It's difficult sometimes, especially in the initial craziness, to spot when your dog has pooped so please if you see a fresh poop, either kindly mention it to the owner or pick it up in the hope that others will do the same for you.
Toys/balls/throwing sticks are a no-no on the walks please. This is so there is no jealously or doggie arguments. A dog used to chasing it's ball or stick will suddenly have another 20 in competition!
Treats - please do not feed treats to any other dogs than your own. Some dogs have allergies or dietary requirements or are trained to only received treats at certain times. This can also cause jealously, possessiveness or defensiveness in some dogs which can cause doggie arguments. If you need to feed your dog treats, not a problem - please do so as sneakily as you can to save you getting hounded (pun intended)!
